Ranipuram

Ranipuram is an important trekking center in North Kerala. Ranipuram is located in the Panathady panchayat of Kasaragod district. With lush green meadows, dense shola forests, and a cool climate, this place is one of the important trekking centers in Kerala. Located at an altitude of about 750 meters above sea level and part of the Western Ghats, this very beautiful place is also called the Ooty of Kerala.

The trekking trails here pass through meadows and forests. There are easy paths to reach the top of Ranipuram. While walking, you can enjoy the beauty of the surrounding natural scenery. Once you reach the top of the hill, you can see the beautiful views of the valleys and distant areas. A small cave on the top of the hill is another attraction here. The best way to explore the beauty of this hill station is to travel on foot.

These hills are part of the Ranipuram Wildlife Sanctuary. Therefore, you can see a variety of flora and fauna here. Wild elephants, deer, buffaloes, and birds are sometimes seen here.
